答：這一句的for不可省畧。Arrange解作「排列」或「整理」，其後當然可以直接受詞（object），例如to arrange the documents in chronological order是「按日期先後排列文件」。但是，要說「安排做某件事」，arrange之後常用「to＋原形動詞（infinitive）」或「for＋名詞＋to＋原形動詞」，例如：

（1）Please arrange for someone to meet him at the airport（請派一個人去機場接他）。

（2）I have arranged to be there at ten（我安排了十點鐘去到那裏）。讀者示下那一句，是用例句一的句式；假如用例句二的句式，則可改寫如下：Please arrange to have the documents signed by the directors。

簡而言之，你可以說arrange for someone to do something或arrange for something to be done或arrange to do something。
